In the world of HubSpot, June has absolutely flown by! Our roundup this month is bringing you all the latest updates, from the retirement of Commerce Hub, incredible charity incentives and marketing enhancements, catch up on the latest in our monthly roundup!
Say Hello to Revenue Hub
The first HubSpot update we have to share with you this month has been a much-talked-about name change. Commerce Hub has retired; say hello to Revenue Hub! Built as a CPQ billing and payments tool, Revenue Hub bridges the gap between customer data that lies in payments and your CRM.
Commerce Hub used to focus on just the transaction, but now Revenue Hub will cover the whole quote-to-cash lifecycle. Our 2025 HubSpot Salary Survey revealed that Commerce Hub was the least used Hub for 2 years in a row, used by only 41% of HubSpotters on average. Do you think the rebrand will increase its usage?
World Learning Week has done it again!
We also welcomed the annual World Learning Week this June. From the 1st to the 5th, HubSpot Academy donated $5 for each HubSpot certification completed. This is a huge charity incentive, and for the first year ever $3 more was donated for selected playlists and courses. Charities include Teach for All, which helps give children access to education, and Laboratoria, helping women in Latin America learn technical skills and experience to break into the industry. For us to have free certifications, as well as a dedicated time to raise money for charity, we are super glad to choose HubSpot!
Product Updates:
The product updates we’re focusing on this June surround updates to HubSpot’s display and marketing stack.
New HubSpot theme:
- Firstly, for the amount of updates we’re constantly seeing, it only makes sense to upgrade their theme. This will automatically roll out for all customers, and gives a more spaced out, cleaner feel to the CRM. From August 31st, HubSpot classic will be no more, but you can switch early before the automatic roll out!
Content and Video Updates:
- For all the marketeers and editors out there, HubSpot has seriously upgraded their video editor. You can now use elevated transitions to flow from clip to clip, reducing the need to move out of HubSpot when editing your material.
- Custom fonts are now available to use in email outreach! This is a big one, making it significantly easier to send custom campaigns, and edit how you want without a need for custom code or third party apps. Your brand kit will have everything you need.
- Also on the topic of email engagement, HubSpot can now predict your email engagement based on your previous history with a contact. This means, if they’re likely (or unlikely) to respond or open your email, you’ll be notified before sending.
Happy Birthday HubSpot!
Last but not least, HubSpot celebrated its 20th birthday last month! On the 9th of June 2006, HubSpot was cofounded by Dharmesh Shah and Brian Halligan. Starting with just three customers (one of which was Dharmesh’s wife!), they now have over 300,000 customers using the platform. With an ever-evolving product, here’s to the next 20 years of HubSpot and all its community!
